Killing Orson Welles at Midnight is an essay about The Clock, a film by Christian Marclay. It was written by Zadie Smith, author of White Teeth, one of the best books I read in 2011, and maybe one of the best in a very long time. I found the essay in Longform’s Best of 2011.
Now, I want to see the film.
